She’s also added some earlier tour dates than what was originally announced, including May 6 at the Mediolanum Forum in Assago, Ma. and May 27 at the Manchester Evening News Arena in Manchester, U.K.

She’s also scheduled to play concerts in Germany, including May 12 at the Festhalle in Frankfurt and May 21 at the Lanxess Arena in Koln.

The icing on this cake is the news about new music coming out May 3. The anthology disc is called The Ultimate Collection and will include fan favorites as well as three previously unreleased tracks. The powerhouse duo are kicking off the tour on June 16 at the 1st Mariner Arena in Baltimore and wrapping things up at the Honda Center in Anaheim on Aug. 30.

Along the way, Sade tickets are available for June 24 at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, N.J.; the TD Banknorth Garden in Boston on July 6; the Amway Arena in Orlando on July 16-17; the United Center in Chicago on Aug. 5-6 and more.

In addition to her past Grammys, Sade snagged two noms at this year’s ceremony for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals and Best R&B Performance By a Duo or Group with Vocals, and took home the Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance for the song “Soldier of Love.”

With Sade tickets flying out the door, it comes as no surprise that Sade’s Soldier of Love is among the artists gracing this year’s list. Soldier earned the #7 spot, right after Taylor Swift’s Speak Now, and right before The Sea by Corinne Bailey Rae. The AP had this to say about Sade’s long-awaited return:

“Sade’s music is so reliable in its greatness that sometimes people - say, Grammy voters - forget how much work it takes to be so good. Always alluring, always enchanting, always sensuous, Sade - with her first album in 10 years - returns with an exquisite collection of entrancing songs.”

Her latest release, Soldier of Love, has been critically acclaimed, and has managed to bring the beauty back out into the open for charity and media appearances, and soon, a worldwide tour. Although the singer is a reluctant celebrity, Sade, now 51, admits she’s getting a bit more comfortable with the media.

“I’m a reluctant star in many ways, but the only way you can get around that is changing, and I think I am changing, lightening up a bit, in regard to being there and being seen and being judged,” she said.

With Grammy nominations being announced later this week, and the buzz including some nods her way, Sade is expected to stick around under the public’s watchful eyes for many weeks to come. And with planning for next year’s tour well underway, we can all expect to see a lot of Sade in the new year.

She’ll be overseas until May 31 before coming stateside on June 16 at the 1st Mariner Arena in Baltimore. From there, she’ll work her way West before wrapping things up on Aug. 30 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif.

Additional U.S. and Canada tour dates include June 21 at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, N.Y.; Bell Centre in Montreal on June 30; and the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Aug. 19 and 20.

The sultry chanteuse and Live Nation have announced the first set of confirmed dates for her 2011 worldwide tour, starting June 16th at 1st Mariner Arena in Baltimore, Md. The North American leg promises more than 50 shows, but so far, only a dozen are set, including stops in Philadelphia, Boston, Toronto, Chicago, and Los Angeles.

Sade released Soldier Of Love back in February, and it’s still garnering critical acclaim and rave reviews both here and internationally. Fans can expect her to perform from this latest release, as well as reprising several of her hits, such as “Your Love Is King,” “The Sweetest Taboo,” and “No Ordinary Love.”

More Sade tour dates will be rolled out during the coming weeks, so check back for news.

However…I did just find out that she will be performing at the seventh annual Black Ball NY at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City on Sept. 30. She’ll be joined by other amazing artists Alicia Keys and Jay-Z.

The event is hosted by Keys’ Keep a Child Alive Organization, or KCA.

“Sade? Jay-Z? Both icons and both major influences of mine. I am overwhelmed by their generosity in helping us continue the tradition of making the Black Ball the best fundraiser in NYC,” Keys said in an MTV.com article. “There are more surprises coming up! Stay tuned!”

Since its founding in 2003, KCA has assisted more than 250,000 and generated more than $10 million. The organization’s mission is to help families who are struggling with HIV and AIDS throughout Africa and India.

Last year’s event drew in a ton of celebs and performers like N’Dour, John Mayer, Coldplay’s Chris Martin, Halle Berry, Mary J. Blige, Swizz Beatz, Nick Cannon, David Bowie, Spike Lee and Usher.

The lovely songstress is first nominated for the Centric Award, competing against Chrisette Michele, Melanie Fiona, Maxwell and Monica.  Sade is also recognized for Best International Act.  In this category, her competition includes P-Square, M.I., Estelle, Kojo Antwi, Chipmunk, K’naan, Corrine Bailey Rae, Dizzee Rascal and HHP (Hip Hop Pantsula).

The 2010 BET Awards ceremony will be held at the Shrine Auditorium in LA, and airs live on Sunday, June 27th.  The event will be hosted by the queen herself, Queen Latifah.

Since its release in February, Soldier of Love, has achieved platinum status and is now available on vinyl for the first time. But to everyone’s frustration, there is still no word of a tour to accompany the new album.
